Best Business Buying Resource I've Found On Amazon!

This is an excellent guide to the business buying process. The author has worked in the field as a consultant for more than two decades, and his experience is displayed in the book in a concise, easy to read manner.

I've spent much more time than most business buyers preparing myself for my search and acquisition. This book is the best available resource I have found on Amazon.

What I have learned is that the buying process is incredibly detailed, and that this author writes in a way that filters out the less important details to be able to help you envision the entire process without becoming overwhelmed. I myself found a need for additional information to feel fully prepared, but I don't think that takes anything away from this book. I would call this book a great map of the process, and advise that you may want to find more details along the path based on what your instinct tells you that you still want to know.

Great book for business buyers

John's methodologies are the best for any business buyer to undertake. The Business Buyer Advocate program is a must for any SERIOUS buyer. Going after the 80% of the best businesses that sell that are not listed vs. the 20% of listed businesses, is the only way to buy a good business in a win-win manor.

The best book on buying a business

I am enjoying this book. I am on my second read through actually.

It is written in a down to earth style. this is about the 4th or 5th book I've read on buying a business and it has the best balance of providing deep enough information without getting too deep in the weeds so the larger points are lost.

I am working on a couple of deals now I am planning on having one of them go to close thanks to the advice in John's book.
