Brilliant

Brilliant. I loved this next installment of the series and the way the story is written as friend's struggle both sides when one becomes involved with a younger sister. It was also good to catch up with the other residents of the town.

I have to admit Cristina is one of my go to authors and The Playboy Next door didn't disappoint. I did want to slap Tony a few times however in the long run it was a sweet love story that held my interest all the way till the end.

Catrina Striker stops at a local pub for a drink after her blind date stands her up. Tony Bates stops in the pub also. He is Cat's brothers friend and he sets next to her. He talks for awhile and asks her if she would like to go to dinner with him. They have dinner and find they are really attracted to each other. When Tony kisses Cat goodnight she invites him upstairs. That's all I will tell you. You have to read it to find out what all happens next. This book contains a little sex but it is a great story and I know you will love it. It's another good read from Christina Tetreault

A Good Strategy Book

I was going to wait until I received my newest copy of this book before reviewing it--as I only owned it for a week before giving it away to a chess player that is trying to get his life back together.
It is a good second or third book for the beginning chess player that reads above the 5th grade level (my opinion), but it is also a good book for intermediate players like myself that are trying to increase their positional understanding. I think any class player and maybe even experts would find a lot of useful material as the book is over 400 pages and includes games from the classics well into the modern era. The games I read though were very thorough and explained the concepts very well, and I have already ordered another copy for myself.

I'm more than halfway through my study of this book and I can say it has been a very good read thus far. The topics are covered in a very lucid style so as to allow easy understanding. This is a great first book on strategy as it touches on all the important concepts of chess strategy. This book covers a lot of ground and will enable a person to dive into more advanced works with a clear understanding of the basics of chess strategy. A must read for the improving player!

This is a must have book for middle range players. It's obvious that Hunt is a chess teacher and understands what middle range players need to know. He focuses on what I would call "applied strategy": Center control, worst place pieces, evaluating positions, getting the initiative, winning won positons, etc. This book trumps 90% of the strategy books available. Hunt is a new writer on the chess scene. I am looking forward to more of his excellent books.
